- Hospitality to be set up before we start
- Introduce any new guests, ask them how they came to be at Alpha. Pass around the registration list. Add any new names and contact details.
- Remind them about the “Alpha Day” on Saturday 15th February. Tell them what happens.
- 4 videos, discussion groups, lunch and fun. It will be great, please mark the date on your calendar.
- Ask them, ‘Can anyone remember the name of the video from last week?’ (Answer: Why Did Jesus Die?)
- Remind them of some interesting points said in last week’s video/group discussion, for example, in the video:-
- We’ve all done things wrong in this life, which we call ‘sin’.
- In a world that has ‘sin’, in order to have love, we must have justice.
- Jesus took our ’sins’ and placed them on the cross with Him so we could be freed from them. The idea is that He takes out all our badness and, in turn, gives us His goodness.
- Nicky – If you were the last person in the world – Jesus would have died for you. That’s how much He loves you.
- In the groups, we concluded that forgiveness brings healing in many ways.
